Peanut Butter Safety in Girl Scout Cookies®

LOUISVILLE, KY — We want to assure all of our loyal Girl Scout Cookie customers that the peanut butter used in Tagalongs® and Do-Si-Dos® cookie products is not sourced from Peanut Corporation of America, the supplier recently implicated by the FDA in their ongoing investigation of a Salmonella outbreak.

Food safety is of the utmost importance to us. We have and continue to work closely with all of our ingredient suppliers to ensure that they continue to exceed food industry operating standards as part of our goal to bake safe, great tasting Girl Scout Cookies. In addition to our expectations of ingredient suppliers, our suppliers are subject to rigorous food safety audits from independent third party auditors. Our peanut butter supplier has a history of excellent audit results.

We appreciate the trust you have placed in us as well as your support of the Girl Scouts® in your community.

We love Girl Scout Cookies!!!

We had our first Harvest Festival last Saturday. The troops had displays set up on crafts they have done and Troop 252 performed a skit on the first Thanksgiving. We had a booth on Turtles and Tortises. Girls were able to learn about them and handle, Box Turtles, Red Ear Sliders, and a Sulcata Tortoise. We also had a baking contest for the girls and a chili cookoff for the adults.

Pepper's is back again!!

12:17 PM Edit This 0 Comments »

I have great news. Peppers will once again be matching cans of food at our Halloween party. So for every can of food we get, Peppers will match the same canned item. Last year we brought in 329 cans of food, Peppers matched that so we were able to give 658 cans of food to the local Food Bank. So make sure you bring is all those cans. Each can is worth 6 tickets, and if you see a Pepper's employee tell them Thanks!!
